The easiest path to follow to access the quiet estuary of Redding Creek is off Staples Point Road. This one-way, 0.6-mile trail starts out on a wide track, so is pretty obvious. Although the trail in unmarked, it is easy to follow, and it takes you down to a beautiful spot on the creek, with houses on the opposite bank. The land belongs to the New England Forestry Foundation, a gift from the Arnold family.
