Skolfield Preserve, Brunswick

QUICK TRAIL FACTS

  • Preserve Size: 8.4 acres
  • Trail Mileage: ~.6 miles
  • Pets: no
  • Difficulty: easy
  • Sights: Middle Bay Cove

A small Brunswick-Topsham Land Trust walk near the Harpswell border, about 0.6 miles. Two short loops offer views of Middle Bay Cove, a salt marsh. A small stream provides some gentle background noise. Dogs not permitted.

Directions: From Maine Street in Brunswick, take a left on Bath Road (Route 24) after the Congregational Church. Turn right at the first light, onto Harpswell Road/Route 123. Continue straight for 3.5 miles until you see the small parking area (perhaps big enough for one car) and preserve sign on right. It can be quite hard to back out into the road from here, so take care.
