Map shows trails in Penobscot County
- Eagle Bluff — Conserved by a local climbing group, this preserve has is an amazing cliff for people who like to defy heights and scale smooth rock. But it is also a beautiful and short hike—albeit a bit steep—for those of us who like to stay upright, with two feet mostly on the ground.
- Parks Pond Bluff — Another climbing spot, this walk offers a half-mile easy walk up to an open bluff with lovely views of the pond and surrounding hills.
- Little and Big Peaked Mountains (aka as the Chick Hills) — Two joined mountains, both with open summits and great views. You can do a nearly 3-mile loop here over both peaks, hiking up the footpath and returning via the cell tower service road.
