Coubers Brook Trail, Wilton

QUICK TRAIL FACTS

  • Preserve Size: tiny
  • Trail Mileage: .2 miles one way
  • Pets: yes
  • Difficulty: moderate
  • Sights: viewing platform, Coubers Brook

This .2-mile narrow path is just a bit too short to amount to a proper walk, but for all that it is lacking in length it makes up for beauty! The trail offers views over the marshy brook , and there is a viewing platform at the end closer to the Lions community building. The ascent down from the station to the view platform is quite steep—the approach from Sunset Avenue is easier.

Directions: There is a small pullover, perhaps big enough just for one or two cars, on the right side of Sunset Avenue after you’ve pulled off East Wilton Road. You can also park at the Lions’ community building, according to the town.
