Eagle Lake Trail, Acadia National Park

QUICK TRAIL FACTS

  • Preserve Size: 49,075 acres
  • Trail Mileage: 1.8 miles
  • Pets: yes
  • Difficulty: easy to moderate
  • Sights: Eagle Lake, views of Conners Nubble

Though this trail hews closely to the side of Eagle Lake on relatively flat terrain, I’m rating it easy-moderate rather than easy because there are rough roots and rocks to navigate, and a few mild ups and downs. Though it’s only 1.8 miles long, is a bit tiring. I imagine more people hike it as the epilogue to their round-trip hike up North Bubble and over to Conners Nubble, which is a great hike!
You can read more info about the park here.

Directions:
You can catch the Eagle Lake Trail off Park Loop Road, from either the parking lot for the Bubbles or at the north end of Bubble Pond.
