This town trail is very pleasant! And easy. It is basically what you imagine it might be—a wide, flat trail along a sparkling river (when it’s sunny, that is). I preferred the section west of Route 23 because there is a little picnic table at the end and a spot to relax close to the river. The surfaces vary among crushed stone, pavement, and grass.
Directions: The parking area is on the western side of Route 23, about 450 feet from the intersection with Route 6. The trail extends along the river on either side of the road here.
