Indian Point Preserve, Ellsworth

This Frenchman Bay Conservancy trail, about 0.3 miles one way down to a wooded point with soaring pines and picnic tables, offers an interesting walk through Native American history, thanks to the informative trail signs. There are also a few displays about the local natural history. A portion of the trail swoops down close to the brook.

Directions:  From Route 1, turn onto Water Street. Go 1 mile and turn right onto Tinker Farm Way. Stay right in the housing development and look for the preserve’s sign for the parking lot and kiosk.
