Lincoln Cove, Perry

QUICK TRAIL FACTS

  • Preserve Size: 100 acres
  • Trail Mileage: .2 miles one way
  • Pets: yes
  • Difficulty: easy
  • Sights: Cobscook Bay, Lincoln Cove, mudflats at low tide

The day we visited this preserve, we walked down the .2-mile track to the pretty cove. But another visitor drove and parked at a small clearing near shore. From this point, there is a very short and pretty path and stairway down to the water.

Directions: From U.S. Route 1, turn left onto Cannon Hill Road. After 1.6 miles, turn right on Birch Point Road, and continue .9 miles. The parking area is on the right, and the trail heads down to the shore on the other side of the road.
