Mary’s Woods is a very short there-and-back jaunt that takes you to a beautiful overlook of Cutting Creek in about 5-10 minutes. It is permissible to park on the side of the driveway, but the Phippsburg Land Trust asks you to not block it.

For some other short walks nearby, check out Greenleaf Preserve and Noble Hill.

Directions: (From the land trust) Take Rte. 209 to Fiddlers Reach Rd., go about 0.1 mile and turn right onto Old Ferry Road. Then turn right at the first driveway you reach. It is a private drive — the property owners graciously allow walkers to use it and park at the trailhead, which is at end of the drive between the house and outbuilding, and marked with a land trust sign.
