The aptly named Cedar Trail brings you gradually down through an old-growth cedar forest to a long stepped bog bridge (the bridge was the highlight of the trail for us!). The one-way trail ends at 0.2 miles at the grass-covered shores of a tributary brook to South Bay.
The park is part of the Cobscook Shore waterfront part system — and has some of its trademark features — an informative kiosk, a well-made parking area and trail, views, and picnic table.
Directions: The trailhead is off Lead Mines Road, about 0.6 miles from the intersection with Crows Neck Road.
