Ordway Grove, Norway

QUICK TRAIL FACTS

  • Preserve Size: 9 acres
  • Trail Mileage: ~.7-mile loop
  • Pets: yes
  • Difficulty: easy
  • Sights: Pennesseewassee Lake, very old white pines

This is a 0.7-mile trail maintained by the Twin Town Nature Club that includes a few places to look out over Pennesseewassee Lake. Supposedly the White Pines here are some of the oldest in Maine!

Here’s a nice description

Directions: From Main Street in Norway, turn right on Pleasant Street. The trailhead is about 0.2 miles on your left and is marked with a small sign that has seen better days. You’ll walk to the right of a private home on what looks like a driveway. In about 100 feet or so into the woods, you’ll see the trail kiosk. There is room for just about two cars in the tiny parking lot.

Let me know if you have any trail updates or corrections!
