- Crooked River Forest’s Twin Bridges Preserve — Five miles of flat trails (under construction in 2019), on a 247-acre parcel along the Crooked River.
- Two Ponds Nature Area — You can do a 2.3-mile loop through pretty forest to the shores of two ponds: Moose and Saturday. Not the most appealing swimming spots, but doable if you’re determined!
- Heniger Park — Easy walking on old woods roads through a 117-acre forest.
