Pleasant Hill Wood trails in green; Old City Landfill trails in blue.

This is a pleasant and not too hilly patch of woods to take a stroll through a forest. It is a Falmouth Land Trust trail system that is probably used mostly by neighbors, as it’s a nice area to have in your backyard if you’re so lucky.

From the parking area off Ledgewood Drive, the trail starts off on the power lines, and then breaks off to make three loops through the woods marked in green, blue, and yellow on the land trust map below.

If you wanted to go for a longer walk, you could cross the street and make your way to Ledges Preserve, and from there to the landfill trails and dog park off Ocean Avenue.

Directions: The best place to park is at a small cleared area under the utility lines off Ledgewood Drive. A short hike down the power line leads to the trail system.
