Poland Spring Preservation Park, Poland

QUICK TRAIL FACTS

  • Preserve Size: Not sure
  • Trail Mileage: ~4.1 miles in network
  • Pets: yes
  • Difficulty: easy
  • Sights: Lower Range Pond, woods

These trails seemed to have been created with x-c skiing in mind, and they are groomed in the winter (with no fee). Some of them are quite hilly — particularly one called Oscar’s Folly. All together, there are about 4.1 miles of well-marked, rolling trails here. The most beautiful point is the little loop by Range Pond, where you can go check out the sand beach across the water.

The trails are set within the Poland Spring resort.

Directions: From Route 26, Poland Spring Preservation Park will be on your right (if coming north), approximately .8 miles past the intersection with Route 122. Look for signs for Poland Spring Resort. After you pull in, follow signs for the trails. You can park near All Souls Chapel. You should see a sign with a trail map on it.

Let me know if you have any trail updates or corrections!
