Salmon Falls Reserve, Lebanon

QUICK TRAIL FACTS

  • Preserve Size: Not sure
  • Trail Mileage: .5 miles
  • Pets: yes
  • Difficulty: easy with some steep sections
  • Sights: Salmon Falls, dam

Though the trail is short, the falls here are wonderful and well worth visiting. The path is easy, and easy to follow, but there are some steep, short inclines to the river. Once you get to the reservoir, keep going left to check out the dam, and then take the small unmarked path to the rocks overlooking the dramatic little falls.

Note: The small, scruffy parking area can be easy to miss; it’s located directly after Prospect Hill Cemetery if you’re coming from the New Hampshire side.

Directions: From Champion Street in New Hampshire, turn onto Prospect Hill Road, and park at the far end of Prospect Hill Cemetery on the right.

Let me know if you have any trail updates or corrections!
