The High Peaks Alliance has created a fantastic new hiking guide and related challenge—the Scenic 7 Hiking Challenge—for seven hikes in Maine’s high peaks region. Maine by Foot is an excited partner in this endeavor!
Whether you’re a seasoned hiker or a beginner, the hikes will test, delight, and reward you with stunning views and tranquil moments in nature.
To participate, you must reach the summits of four mountains and explore three scenic trails designated as Scenic 7 Hiking Challenge locations. Once completed, you can register on the High Peaks Alliance website as a Challenge Champion.
