Snow Natural Area, Brooksville

QUICK TRAIL FACTS

  • Preserve Size: 40 acres
  • Trail Mileage: 1-mile loop
  • Pets: yes
  • Difficulty: easy
  • Sights: Bagaduce River

I enjoyed my dusk walk here in the winter of 2016, since the setting sun lit up the far shore of the Bagaduce River in bright oranges and reds. The loop trail is just a little over 1 mile, and at low tide you can walk over to Nab Island. This is a Blue Hill Heritage Trust property.

Directions: From Route 176, turn on to Young’s Point Road. When the road forks, bear right, and the preserve trailhead is a little farther along on the right.

  1. This whole site is amazing! Thank you for doing this! I live in Sedgwick and my favorite thing to do is go on walks and find new ones to explore. This is so detailed, organized and helpful! well done and thanks again! Jennifer McCall
