This is a great system of trails — really well marked and well maintained by the Over the Hill Riders. The trails go through some nice forests, and there is even a view to Mt Washington on clear days from the ridge behind the firehouse. This map includes, in red, the Lilly Pond Community Forest foot path. There are some pretty woods around the transfer station, off Route 1.
