- Petit Manan Wildlife Refuge — Two trails here—one slightly easier (Birch)—take you to remote and beautiful parts of the refuge.
- Eagle Hill Institute — The institute is dedicated to natural history education. It has opened up its 2.5-mile trail network—which includes trails down to the bay—to the public.
