QUICK TRAIL FACTS

  • Preserve Size: 130 acres
  • Trail Mileage: 1.7 miles
  • Pets: yes
  • Difficulty: easy
  • Sights: meadow, Salmon Falls River

Tuckahoe, just north of Keay Brook Preserve, is a 130-acre Great Works Regional Land Trust preserve that includes an open meadow and a loop trail that follows a 6,200-foot section of the Salmon Falls River.

From the parking area, the trail follows a wide road for 0.1 mile or so to a meadow with a picnic area. Look for the trail on your left, before you reach the picnic tables. It’s marked with a wooden post with a blue blaze. The trail then heads through the woods to the 0.7-mile loop that follows the river for two sides of the circle (more a distorted square) as it follows a sharp bend in the river.

Directions: The parking area is at 335 Hubbard Rd.
