Woodman Preserve, Falmouth

QUICK TRAIL FACTS

  • Preserve Size: 6.6 acres
  • Trail Mileage: .7 miles in network
  • Pets: yes
  • Difficulty: easy
  • Sights: forest

This 6.6-acre Falmouth Land Trust preserve offers a pleasant couple of loops in the woods — a great spot for locals to pop into nature for a short walk. You can access the preserve from Johnson Road or from the cul-de-sac off Arborside Road, but there is no place to park at either trailhead. Additionally, you’ll first walk through right-of-ways on private property to reach the trail system.

Directions: You will find one of the trailheads at 25 Johnson Road. Walk alongside the residence fence to access the preserve. Be sure and walk on the grass and not the flower bed. The easiest spot to park is the lot at the Town Landing, just a short ways down Johnson Road. The lot is open to residents and non-residents.
