- Great Wass Island — A difficult, long walk (4.5 miles, but feels longer) around the edge of a dramatic island and also through its interesting interior. No dogs allowed.
- Seaduck Point Preserve — A fabulous and easy 0.75-mile walk through dark, mossy spruce forest to a beach of small, smooth, round stones.
