- Gould’s Landing Trail — An easy 0.5-mile trail near Pushaw Lake’s wetlands.
- Stillwater River Trail — This is a wonderful 1.8-mile, flat and easy trail along the river, about 0.6 miles of it is wheelchair accessible. At Christmas time, a 500-foot section of it is transformed into a dazzling light display.
- Davis Conservation Easement — You can do an easy 1-mile loop through the woods at this preserve. Some of the trail runs fairly close to the highway.
- Piney Knoll Conservation Area — A convenient and pleasant network of trails close to downtown and the university campus.
- Sklar Park, Rampe Conservation Easement, and Jeremiah Colburn Natural Area — Three linked preserves, about 122 acres in total, with many miles of walking paths through woods. Along the way, you’ll see three small meadows, vernal pools, and interesting trees.
