- Chewonki Foundation trails — Chewonki is building what it says will be the longest coastal walk outside of Acadia when it’s complete. Right now, you can walk for almost 5 miles here, and it’s beautiful. I think dogs are allowed?
- Cushman Preserve — The 147-acres Cushman Preserve offers a short, lovely walk through meadows to great views of Cushman Cove, Back River, and a protected little cove.
- Morris Farm Trails — The West Woods and Morris Farm Trails link more than 200 acres of woods and fields on three contiguous properties: the Sortwell Memorial Forest, the Town Forest (owned by the Town of Wiscasset), and the Morris Farm. Dogs allowed.
