The Nature Trail, along the east side of Horseshoe Pond Road follows the charming Sucker Brook for ~0.4 miles before bringing you to an elevated viewing platform with a view over Moose Pond bog. Another nice thing about this Greater Lovell Land Trust preserve is it connects to the Lord Hill and Pine Hill trail systems, so you can gain some elevation (and go rock hounding at Lord Hill quarry).

Directions: (Per the land trust) From Lovell, drive north on Route 5. Turn left onto West Lovell Road. Proceed over the Narrows Bridge. Continue on West Lovell Road, bearing left at the first fork (3 miles) onto Foxboro Road. Follow Foxboro Road (straight ahead) at the fork with New Road. Drive about one mile to Horseshoe Pond Road on your right. Proceed down Horseshoe Pond Road for 0.8 miles to the kiosk on the right just before the boat landing. Parking is by the side of the narrow road.
