This is a wonderful place to x-c ski, albeit on the small side. The tracks are groomed for both classic and skate skiing when races are scheduled. We were lucky the day we visited because the trails had been prepared for a big high school meet, and we were able to watch a few great races. We also managed to get out on the lovely course in between sprints!
It’s important to note: the black diamond trails are genuinely difficult. There are some mega hills here.
Directions: You can park in the large parking area for the alpine ski hut, and you buy your x-c ski tickets inside. The ski area is at the end of Glover Road, off Isthmus Road.
