Brave Boat Headwaters, which shares the same name as the nearby scenic harbor, is an important preserve in this coastal ecosystem. It contains headwaters to the harbor, and is part of a large unprotected swath of land in the area. The preserve offers an easy, wooded loop, with a look at the freshwater stream that feeds into the sea.

Directions: The trailhead parking is off Brave Boat Harbor Road, across from Salt Marsh Lane.
