These truly are “nature trails,” and might be a bit wild. Whatever the condition, the Piscataquis County Soil and Water Conservation District preserve is a beautiful and ecologically diverse place. A highlight is the short bog walk and deck. The 1.2-mile loop path takes you along meadows and forest.
Directions: Follow Route 16 (Milo Road) until you reach Lee Cemetery Road on your right. The parking lot will be shortly on the right.
