This is a peaceful place, with about 2.5 miles of trails through mostly wooded habitat, with early succession forest and several vernal pools. My map looks a bit different than the Coastal Mountains Land Trust official map. Hmm.
The Blue Loop is an easy 1.2 miles walk, while the Orange Loop offers a 2.3 miles easy round trip.
Directions: From Route 1 in Searsport, take a left onto Mt. Ephraim Rd. After 2.6 miles, turn right onto Savery Rd. Follow 0.6 miles to the preserve parking lot on the right.
