Mayberry Hill Preserve, Casco

  • Preserve Size: 160 acres
  • Trail Mileage: .8-mile round trip
  • Pets: yes
  • Difficulty: easy
  • Sights: woods, meadow, streams

This is a small, easy walk on a 160-acre Loon Echo Land Trust preserve. The trail is less than a mile and loops through a forest. The amazing views of mountains are on the other side of the road unfortunately! So enjoy them as you drive to the trailhead. This is a good place for local people to take a peaceful walk.

Directions: In the village center of Casco, turn right on Mayberry Hill Road, drive to the top of the hill. Turn left at the stop sign. The Preserve is a short distance on the right. Park along the road at the trail head, with wheels well off the road. Use caution here as a blind curve makes it difficult for other motorists to see.

Let me know if you have any trail updates or corrections!
