McFeely Preserve

York, York County

QUICK TRAIL FACTS

  • Preserve Size: 38 acres
  • Trail Mileage: 0.6-mile loop
  • Pets: yes
  • Difficulty: easy
  • Sights: Clay Hill Brook

This 38-acre York Land Trust preserve offers a little 0.6-mile loop through woods to a brook that cuts a green, mossy ribbon through the forest. The map below indicates an additional small loop on the other side of the brook, necessitating two stream crossings. I’ll try to check it out one day!

Directions: From the junction of Routes 1 and Clay Hill Road in Ogunquit, follow Clay Hill Road 1.8 miles west to Marsh Brook Road on the right. Follow Marsh Brook Road .25 miles to kiosk on right.

  1. I live on this road. This road cannot take lots of traffic since it is a private road that we who live on the road pay for everything and get no help from the town. We as residents on this road don’t want tons of people here

Let me know if you have any trail updates or corrections!
