McMahon Nature Trail, Lewiston

  • Preserve Size: Not sure
  • Trail Mileage: ~1.7 miles in network
  • Pets: yes
  • Difficulty: easy
  • Sights: Forest, school trails

These trails, behind McMahon Elementary School, are well maintained and well blazed. The high point is on the red trail, when you walk up a knoll to a slightly open area with a few rows of wooden benches. You can see a couple more maps at Androscoggin Land Trust’s site.

Directions: The best place to pick up the trail is at the trailhead kiosk off North Temple Street, or N Temple Street, right across from the intersection with Ann Street.

Let me know if you have any trail updates or corrections!
