This protected area has an impressive, short wheelchair-accessible trail that brings you to a pretty spot overlooking the point where Mill Stream flows from Parker Pond. There are informational panels and places to sit at the end of the path, as well. The Blue Hill Heritage Trust has restored the Alewife fish passageway here, to clear the way for the fish to return upstream in the spring to spawn in Parker Pond.

A side trail brings you to the ruins of an old mill.

Directions:The parking lot and trailhead are on the right 1 mile down Bagaduce Raod in Brooksville from the intersection of 175 (Bridge St/Frank’s Flat) & 176. The parking area can fit at least 5 cars.
