This is a lovely place to watch the sunset! And there are a couple of easy paths at this state park to get to a viewpoint to watch it. If you do the perimeter trail along the sea edge and walk back along the access road, it’s about 1.25 miles. You have to pay a fee here in the summer, not so in the winter.
The trails are generally accessible but not the access path to the stony beach.
Directions: The park is right off of Route 1, between the downtowns of Belfast and Searsport.
