This 0.7-mile trail on land owned by the Twin Town Nature Club includes a few places to look out over Pennesseewassee Lake. Supposedly the White Pines here are some of the oldest in Maine!
The trails are wide and mostly flat, cool and shaded as they weave through the old forest. Expect a few roots.
Directions: From Main Street in Norway, turn right on Pleasant Street. The trailhead is about 0.2 miles on your left and is marked with a small, wooden sign. You’ll walk by a home, on your left, on what looks like a driveway. In about 100 feet or so into the woods, you’ll see the trail kiosk. There is room for just about two cars in the tiny parking lot.
