This little preserve has a lot of charm! The trail includes a few lookouts onto the Messalonskee Stream; expect to see ducks.
From the north end of the trailhead’s parking lot, look for the trail heading east. It goes down a short hill before flattening out to make a couple of short loops in a low-lying peninsula encircled by the stream.
Directions: I believe you can park at the Lutheran Church on 36 Cool Street. The trail is just north of the parking lot, on the right. The trail is marked with a sign at the street.
