Recreational Park Nature Trail, Greene

I didn’t expect this little town trail to be as pleasant as it was. Next to the playground and fields is a trailhead kiosk map showing the approximately two miles of blazed trails here. These trails do hook up to more extensive snowmobile trails, which I didn’t follow because they likely would have taken me make to the other end of the state. People have also made unofficial trails here that are not on the map. I didn’t include these on my map, either.

Directions: After the Greene Central School on Main Street, you can turn right onto Recreation Drive. Park at the end; you’ll see the kiosk at the forest entrance.
