Sno Rovers Trails

East Millinocket, Penobscot County

QUICK TRAIL FACTS

  • Preserve Size: Not sure
  • Trail Mileage: ~8 miles in network
  • Pets: yes
  • Difficulty: easy
  • Sights: river, fields, woods

When I visited, the East Branch Sno Rovers had groomed the eight miles or so of trails around its base of operations. The trails near the river are the loveliest. The skiing is flat and easy, very pleasant, and well marked with periodic maps along the way.

Katahdin Area Trails has more information about the Millinocket town trails.

This trail system, along with other ski trails in Millinocket — Bait Hole, Northern Timber Cruisers northern trails, and the Hammond Ridge system — make this area a fantastic destination for x-c skiing!

Directions: You can park at the St. Peter’s Catholic Church (the trails are behind the church) or at the Snow Rovers clubhouse.

Let me know if you have any trail updates or corrections!
