- Bass Falls Preserve — Walk down to the slow, shallow, rocky Sheepscot River and also check out an old fishing camp. Dogs allowed, but on leash through the meadow at the beginning of the trail. Some steep hills.
- Trout Brook Preserve — A 1.7-mile walk or so on this 126-acre preserve includes lovely spots for picnicking or hanging out by the brook.
