This 19-acre preserve is located off of fast, busy (in the summer, especially) Route 27. The trail is a little less than one mile, and takes you to a view of Cross River, as well as across a pretty stream.
Directions: Coming north, look for the preserve on your right after the Boothbay Animal Hospital and Animal Playhouse. If you’re coming from the south, the preserve is on your left soon after you pass River Road.
