Fuller Farm

Scarborough, Cumberland County

QUICK TRAIL FACTS

  • Preserve Size: 224 acres
  • Trail Mileage: 3.9 miles in network
  • Pets: yes
  • Difficulty: easy
  • Sights: fields, woods, waterfall, Nonesuch River, boardwalks

This is a gorgeous 224-acre Scarborough Land Trust preserve popular with local people. There are boardwalks! Flower-laden meadows! And a waterfall.

You can get in a decent length walk here if you meander around or walk the perimeter. This trail skirts the edge of fields filled with nesting birds and wildflowers in season (note that dogs must be leashed from May 1 to August 1), and then heads into the woods. At one point, the trail crosses the Nonesuch River and it looks like snowmobile trails continue from there.

Additionally, a 0.4-mile forested trail connects Burnham Road to the preserve. The official map has useful trail distances.

Directions: The address is 305 Broadturn Road. There’s a large parking area on the north side of the road.
