Map shows trails in Washington County
- Machias River Preserve — You can do a couple substantial loops here, with some pretty walking along the river.
- Middle River Park — There are a few nice aspects of this pretty, little park, where you can take a 1.5-mile walk or so — one of them being you can get a piece of pie at Helen’s Restaurant right after! (It’s across the street from the preserve.)
- Long Point, Machiasport — This is a glorious place to walk, with a secluded beach and views from two sea bluffs.
