This short trail — just 0.2 miles — in Rocky Lake Public Land leads to a picnic area and beautiful beach on the south shore of Patrick Lake. From the parking area, the trail heads slightly downhill with the lake quickly coming into view. It first reaches the beach area, perfect for swimming! The trail continues a short distance beyond the beach to a picnic area. There is also an outhouse down a short side trail near the picnic area.

By Sam Shirley.

Directions: The parking area is marked by a large sign and is on the north side of Route 86. It is 0.8 mile east of the intersection with Route 191 and 9.4 miles west of the intersection with Route 1.

Art by Abby McBride. The first piece is Patrick Lake; the second, Lakeside Cedars.
