Along this Portland Trails path, you’ll find a quiet, pretty place to walk where, on the day I went, was almost empty save a snowmobiling father and daughter and a solo snowshoer. The trail follows the river for about 1.4 miles, starting at the parking section on Halidon Road and ending at the pullout on East Bridge Street. Directions: Parking is available on East Bridge Street at the trailhead 1/10 mile west of Route 302.
