This is a 1.5-mile loop off the Evergreen Cemetery nearly 40 acres of forest and wetlands, cared for by the Kennebunk Land Trust. The trust describes the land as a “boggy filter” for the Lake Brook watershed.
Directions: Access is from 1 Port Road via The Evergreen Cemetery. Parking is in rear of cemetery. No access to entry by car in winter but visitors are still welcome. Also, the cemetery doesn’t allow dogs, but the preserve does.
