This is a delightful trail, a little more than half a mile, along the river. When I visited in the spring of 2016, Androscoggin Land Trust had set up bog bridges over some of the wetter areas.
Directions: From downtown Auburn, follow Main Street to the intersection with Mill St and take a left onto Mill St. Drive past Barker Mill Arms on the right to the Great Falls Model Railroad Club on the left. Park here and walk across Mill St. to an unmarked driveway just to the southwest. This entrance is to the parking lot of Upper Barker Mill Hydroelectric Dam. The trail begins next to the building.
