This path is an amazing amenity for the townspeople of Lincoln — and for visitors! Behind the playing fields, tennis and pickleball courts, and running track of Mattanawcook Academy and Ellen P. Burr Elementary School, you can follow a 1.4-mile packed gravel path. It is flat, easy, and pleasant, with stretches in the forest and some fitness stations set up along the way. There’s also plenty of parking, especially on the weekends and holidays when school is not in session. The entire trail is designed to be universally accessible.

Directions: The trail can be picked up at the Mattanawcook Academy track or behind the ballfields at the elementary school. Additionally, there is a parking area and trailhead off Lee Road, on a driveway about 500 feet south of Granite Drive.
