This short trail in downtown Kingfield was built by the Kingfield Trail Builders with mountain bikers in mind, but it is also great for a short walk! (Just make way for riders.)
The easy trail winds its way through woodlands behind houses on Stanley Avenue and runs alongside Stanley Stream at one point. It crosses an ATV trail numerous times, and there are a variety of features along the trail for mountain bikers. The trail seems to be well maintained and is marked with Kingfield Trail Builders (KTB) diamonds.
Directions: The two entrances to this trail are a few hundred yards apart on Stanley Avenue in Kingfield. There is no parking lot, but roadside parking is available on the quiet street. Both trail entrances are directly adjacent to houses and are shared with ATV and/or snowmobile trails. Upon entering the woods, KTB diamond trail markers will reassure you that you are in the right place!
