Tuckahoe, just north of Keay Brook Preserve, is a 130-acre Great Works Regional Land Trust preserve that includes open grasslands and a loop trail that follows a 6,200-foot stretch of the Salmon Falls River.
From the parking area, the trail follows a wide road for 0.1 mile or so to a meadow with a picnic area. Look for the trail on your left, before you reach the picnic tables. It’s marked with a wooden post with a blue blaze. The trail then heads through the woods to the 0.5-mile lollipop loop that follows the river for two sides of a circle (more a funky square) where the river makes a sharp bend.
Directions: The parking area is at 335 Hubbard Rd.
