Map shows trails in York County
- Knox Mountain — This trail is unblazed but is popular enough that it is easy to follow. A relatively easy 1-mile trail leads to a charming summit with views to the east and west (south and west?).
- Bond Mountain — The .6-mile trail to the lookout at roughly 800 feet follows a logging track most of the way up.
- Province Mountain — For a small mountain, the views are spectacular. It’s roughly .8 miles to the summit from the Butterfield Road trail head.
- Picket Mountain — This is a privately owned mountain, and the owners do close the trail at times, mostly during the summer, I believe. If you can climb it, it’s an easy 1.2 miles to lovely western and southern vistas.
